The German-speaking Kálnoky guesthouse in the Transylvanian village of Micloșoara (Miklósvár in Hungarian) dates back to the 19th century and has been carefully restored to preserve the original charm and character of that time. The property consists of several restored houses, with storks nesting on their roofs in spring. The houses are situated in a spacious garden and have been beautifully furnished with antiques in the Transylvanian and Saxon styles.

The rustic charm and original character are undeniable, offering you the chance to travel back in time, as if you were visiting friends in rural Transylvania in a 19th-century novel.
The rooms are furnished exclusively with antique Transylvanian furniture and textiles. All rooms feature double beds with wool blankets and down comforters. To create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, the rooms do not have televisions or radios, but you will find many interesting books on the shelves. Each room is equipped with a kettle and tea.
The village of Micloșoara has limited infrastructure, so the Kálnoky guesthouse makes no claim to technical perfection.
