Guesthouses
Old Parsonage
The former Evangelical parsonage is the second oldest building in Kleinschenk after the church fort. After extensive restoration work, wall paintings from the late Renaissance period of Transylvania were uncovered. The parsonage houses an apartment with a bedroom, living room with a library, a large dining room, and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, as well as a beautiful garden.
Old School
The renovated old German school was built in 1910 in the Art Nouveau style. With its unique atmosphere, it is a perfect place for reflection and relaxation.
In addition to four bedrooms, each with its own fully equipped bathroom, the house offers a living room for reading and listening to music, a conference and media room with a library, and a veranda used as a dining room.
The Frank House (Commercial Building)
The Frank House, a late-classicist building from the Gründerzeit period, was once a commercial property of the Frank family, a wealthier family from Kleinschenk. It was built at the end of the 19th century and has undergone numerous architectural changes throughout its history. It currently has two small apartments, a small library, a small meeting room on the ground floor, and four additional rooms on the upper floor.
Farmhouse
The old farmhouse was recently restored. It is located right next to the parsonage, opposite the old school, and has three spacious rooms. The front mezzanine room offers a view of the fortified church, while the rear room looks out over the large parsonage garden. All rooms are decorated in a country house style. Enjoy the well-maintained country house atmosphere and the beautiful landscape!
Kitchen
In the Kleinschenk guesthouses, there is a closed kitchen, exclusively for house guests. Therefore, guests are kindly asked to reserve meals approximately one day in advance. The experienced and creative chef, Adrian Boscu, prepares freshly cooked dishes daily using primarily local and regional products. No ready-made products are used. Here, old Transylvanian recipes from Saxon, Hungarian, and Romanian cuisines are rediscovered, adapted to current eating habits, and thus preserved for the future. A touch of Transylvanian “Nouvelle Cuisine” in Kleinschenk!
